We'll discuss press kits, epk's, being the opening act, free vs. paid gigs and much, much more. This is a nuts and bolts class. "Extreme Makeover: Performance Skills for Songwriters and Artists"

All week long you've been sitting in classes learning how to write a great song and the business behind getting it cut. Now, get up on your feet and wrap up your Songposium week with a unique experience: a performance makeover! Whether you're a songwriter or an indie artist, playing at writer's nights or concert halls, you need to know performance fundamentals like proper mic technique, adding dynamics, how to communicate emotions, and dealing with nervousness. In this class, we'll cover these topics and show you how the smallest change can make the biggest difference in your performance. Nancy will be delivering LIVE performance makeovers to those who want one on a first-come, first-served basis. So, make sure you sign up EARLY! No previous performing experience is necessary.
